Hawaii
is a dream vacation destination. Current airfares to Hawaii
make it cheaper than you think to get there. You can fly to
Honolulu from New York City for approximately $438 dollars.
It's not the cheapest airplane ride you can take but considering
that it will cost you around $415 to fly the 198 miles from
New York to Nantucket it seems like a bargain. If you live
on the west coast then Honolulu will cost around $264 round-trip.
Hawaii Airfare Search Tips
The low season
in Hawaii is from September to November, with some crowds
on Thanksgiving, so look for the best Hawaii airfare deals
then.
If you are planning on going to Hawaii for your honeymoon,
romantic getaway, or just a great vacation with palm trees
and beaches than be sure to check out all of the major airline
web sites for any special deals. (You never know you might
get lucky)
As always, keep in mind your final destination and try to
limit the number of flights you have to take to get there.
A non-stop flight is a much easier way to start and end your
vacation. Having to change planes three or even four times
is tiring and there is a greater possibility of missing a
connecting flight.
Consider buying
a package deal including both your airfare and hotel. You'd
be surprised how little five nights in a hotel can add to
your airfare when you purchase them together.
When in Hawaii
you will definitely need a rental car, so look for airfare
and car package. A package that includes both airfare and
car is sometimes cheaper than just the airfare so it's like
getting a free car for your entire vacation.
Finding a discount airfare to Hawaii is just like looking
for any other airfare deal you've got to know what you want
and go hunt for it. The more flexible you are the better chance
you have of getting a better deal. If you have to run off
to Hawaii tomorrow than your going to pay the price, but you
can be sure you will have a great vacation.
