Kokololio Beach Park is situated on the north side of Hauula town. The beach park is situated at the base of the valley. There is a stream nearby the Kokololio Beach Park. During the summer, Kokololio Beach Park will be a great place to perform all kinds of ocean recreational activities. In the winter, you can carry out surfing and body boarding activities at the beach. You can bring along your camera to snap some photos at the Kokololio Beach. The surfing spot CYO can be found offshore from the beach. CYO is an abbreviation for Catholic Youth Organization. In the past, the people of the organization used the house as a retreat. Later, the city purchased it to include it in the Kokololio Beach Park.

On the north end of the beach, there is a limestone sea cliff called Pali Kiloia. Pali Kiloia means fish spotter cliff in the language of the Hawaiian people. The Hawaiian people make use of the limestone sea cliff to spot fishes in the bay. After spotting the fishes, they gave signals to the fishermen to put down the net. Today, it remains a popular site for fishermen to spot fishes. The local Hawaiian fishermen often go to the Kokololio Beach to catch o’io and moi fishes. Other fishes, which you can catch at the Kokololio Beach Park, include paio fish and ulua fish.

There are some interesting snorkeling spots at the Kokololio Beach. In the center of the Kokololio Beach Park, there is a wall. If you go pass the wall and head to the beach, you will find a snorkeling spot on the right. You can let the ocean current take you to the reef wall. At this reef wall, you can see a large number of fishes. After that, you should swim back to the shore on the north. The currents may be strong and dangerous. There is a full range of facilities at Kokololio Beach Park including restrooms, picnic tables, showers and shades. If you want to camp at Kokololio Beach Park, you must get a permit.

There are a small number of houses located on the north side of the beach. If you stroll along the beach, you will notice the beach houses. There are a few dogs guarding at the beach house area. Because the beach houses are not surrounded with fence, the dogs can come to the public beach easily. There are 5 camp sites at the Kokololio Beach Park. Kokololio Beach Park is located on 55-017 markers of the Kamehameha Highway in Laie.

The Diamond Head area real estate market, part of the larger Oahu housing market, saw a particularly strong year in 2010, according to statistics from the Honolulu Board of Realtors and Pacific Business News. Across the entire island of Oahu, there were a total of 306 single-family homes purchased in the month of December 2010, marking a significant year-over-year increase. In December 2009, there were only 272 single-family homes sold throughout the City & County of Honolulu. In other words, there was approximately a twelve and a half percent increase in the quantity of homes sold between 2009 and 2010. Over the entirety of 2010, there were a total of 3,051 homes purchased, compared to only 2,690 throughout 2009 – marking a increase of thirteen percent. Condominium sales in particular actually decreased in 2010 compared to 2009, declining from 350 units in December 2009 to 341 units in December 2010. Conversely, over the entire year there were ten percent more than in 2010, increasing from 3,566 to 3,934. In terms of median price, an Oahu home averaged a sales price of $587,000 in December 2010, representing an increase of about six percent from $555,000 in December 2009. Over the entire year, the median price increased three percent from $575,000 to $592,750. Condominiums, on the other hand, remained essentially unchanged on both year-over-year and month-over-month metrics.

This increase in the median sales price of Diamond Head homes for sale and other Oahu real estate was reported by the Honolulu Star Advertiser to represent a reversal of a two-year decline in the local housing market. According to the Honolulu Board of Realtors, the median price across Oahu had fallen from a peak of $640,000 in 2007 to a nadir of $575,000 in 2009. This was the first year-over-year increase since the housing market began to decline back in 2007. One local expert noted that the yearly improvement in median price was especially encouraging in reference to the previous declines of median price on Oahu. Median prices declined by about three percent and seven percent from 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 on Oahu, whereas many metropolitan areas saw consecutive double-digit declines over the same period.

When traveling to Hawaii, there are one of two ways in which people get to the island. First is by plane, in which most people land in Honolulu. However, there are flights from Honolulu that go to the other islands located within Hawaii. So, people are looking at connecting flights when they travel. When traveling from the United States, and you are located on the West Coast you can possibly find a direct flight to Honolulu, however, for those on the East Coast, you may be looking at connecting flights simply because they are less direct flights available. However, you should plan to spend anywhere from one hour to twenty hours in the air, depending upon where you are flying from to get to Hawaii.

Some tips for booking your flight to Hawaii include booking in advance. Hawaii is a popular destination place for vacation during both the summer and winter, thus, if you believe that you can get on a last minute flight, you are only kidding yourself. Most professionals recommend that you book around a month in advance or longer if you know of your travel plans. In addition, for those that are traveling to Hawaii on vacation, you may want to consider working with a travel agent. These people can book your flights as well as your staying accommodations while in Hawaii and charge one fee. Most people find that by combining the hotel accommodation and flights that they are able to save a substantial amount of money.

Remember that since you are taking a flight, you should adhere to the guidelines that are provided for air travel. For those that are worried about the items such as shampoo and other liquids that you bring, you can simply purchase these items once you land in Hawaii. Which could keep you from having a hard time at airport security.

At one point in time there were several boats that would carry passengers from the United States, however, the days of this is gone since airlines can provide many more accommodations for more people than a boat ever could. Plus, in most cases air is much faster than traveling by boat. But, if you are determined to travel by boat at some point in your trip to Hawaii, then you can do this when in Hawaii and going to the other islands in the area.

Overall, you can make sure to have the picture perfect vacation if you take the time before the trip to make sure that your travel arrangements are made properly and successfully.
